During her 17 year career at the U.S. subsidiary of Austria’s second largest bank, Raiffeisen Bank International AG, Silvia had the privilege of managing every type of corporate event, from elaborate anniversary galas, annual off – site company meetings, conference functions e.g. during the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group in Washington D.C., golf outings, experiential marketing events, customized VIP dinners and C – suite business affairs.
In her function as President of the U.S. Austrian Chamber of Commerce in New York from 2015 to 2018, Silvia focused on bespoken member experiences, lectures and panel discussions with international economists and politicians, and concerts at Carnegie Hall with Members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. She founded the Women in Business Forum, a panel series together with the German American and Swiss American Chamber of Commerce, and introduced Austrian companies to the U.S. market and connected them to the business community.
For the past five years, Silvia has produced the Viennese Opera Ball in New York, an annual white-tie charity gala, one of the highlights on the social calendar. Each year, Silvia puts together an elaborate production celebrating culture and music with ballroom dancing, performances by renowned opera stars and ballet, and the debutantes presentation.
